At Fynn, our mission is to "connect people with the tools and information they need for successful senior living." We accomplish this through developing sophisticated yet straightforward technology purposefully built for the needs of seniors and those who care for them.

Meet one of the people responsible for building that technology—Senior Data Engineer, Matt Dix.  Data powers everything we do in Fynn, and Matt oversees the systems that collect, analyze, model, and present data to make impactful improvements in the lives of seniors.  Matt is responsible for the data and machine learning pipelines that power the predictive models inside of Fynn - including the “At Risk Resident” Model that proactively surfaces resident issues so they can be addressed before they become larger problems.  Matt also leverages his broader product and engineering experience to contribute to the continuing evolution of the Fynn Platform.

“Matt is the engineer everyone wants to work with.  He is incredibly intelligent, hard working, and humble,” said Vice President of Engineering Kristofer Pelchat. “He brings a unique and insightful perspective and positive attitude to everything that he is involved in.  Fynn is a better technology platform and company because he is here.”

Matt empowers care staff with smart applications of data—making their jobs easier and more efficient by dynamically changing the care each resident gets based on their evolving needs.  Matt is a data wizard having spent the last 10+ years working with data across a number of domains including marketing, healthcare, and building data products.  His focus on leveraging data to drive positive impact in people’s lives has made Fynn a better product.  We at Fynn are proud to have him on our team and look forward to all the great things he will continue to do for Fynn.

“Data and the evolving techniques in AI hold so much potential,” Matt said. “I'm excited to be able to work in a domain like healthcare where we have the opportunity to improve the lives of so many.”
